Rafael Fernández-Fígares Ibáñez is a native of Andalucía and has houses in both Marbella and just outside the beautiful city of Granada. Rafael studied at the University of Granada, one of the top universities in Spain with a history of almost 500 years, where he graduated with a degree in law. He also studied in English for a semester as Erasmus student in the Netherlands with a focused on European Law and Human Rights law.
Rafael became a member of the Malaga Bar Association in 2002 and has been providing legal services to both private individuals and companies, including property developers and real estate agents, for over 20 years. His legal training and many years of experience acting for clients in the purchase and sale of property in Marbella and the Cost del Sol enables him to provide both expert advice and a very efficient property law and conveyancing service. He is also been lawyer for Community owners in urbanisations on the Costa del Sol.
When he is not working for clients, Rafael likes to spend time with his family and pets, play tennis, swimming and explore his native Andalucía looking for new rivers to fish for trout. »
Licensed Lawyer no. 5801 with Málaga’s ICA (Bar Association), founder of Fígares Abogados in 2003. Rafael specialises in the provision of legal advice to international clients.
